It's that time of year again… we are planning our Annual Spring Fling. As you probably know, this event is as much about education as it is about vendors, and I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'll be able to participate in some capacity this year. We encourage seminars, exhibits, and activities that help event attendees understand how important our ecosystem is to our area. The event actually takes place over 3 days. 
Day One: Learning Stations at the Andrews Library (Friday, April 22). Elementary students are brought by bus to the library to learn from 5-6 "stations" set up around the library. In the past, we've had Smoky Bear come and teach fire safety. We've also had stations set up by Mainspring, Mountain True, and local farms.
 
NEED: Volunteers to help keep the kids moving through the stations.
 
Day Two: Street Fair and Nature Expo (Saturday, April 23). Main Street will be closed from 11 am to 6 pm, and will be filled with vendors of all types. Mixed in with those vendors we'll have educational exhibits, and we also offer space inside the Chamber Office for seminars. Mountain True will be doing a Tree ID Scavenger Hunt this year, along with two Nature Walks in Heritage Park along the river. People will sign up for these activities at the Chamber Info Tent. I'd love to add even more activities and look forward to hearing any ideas you might have.
 
NEED: Volunteers for Check-in and setup, manning the Chamber Info Tent, Vendor liaisons, Takedown, and Clean-up.
