About Us

The Region A Partnership for Children administers North Carolina's Smart Start and NC Pre-K initiatives in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties and on the Cherokee Indian Reservation.We have offices in Murphy and Sylva serving children birth to five and their families in child care and with home visiting family support programs. The overall goal of the Partnership is to ensure that all children arrive at school healthy and prepared to succeed in school and in life.
